  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour half the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl, and sprinkle half over the batter.
  • Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the swirl mixture. Swirl gently with a knife.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool, then add cream cheese frosting or other toppings if desired.
