Equipment

  • cutting board
  • knife
  • Plate

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread I used Trader Joe’s sourdough
  • 3 slices oven roasted turkey breast
  • 2 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1 small apple
  • ½ cup arugula
  • 2 tablespoons Dill Pickle Mustard from Trader Joe’s
  • 1 tablespoon light mayo
  • 6-8 dill pickle coins
  • 6-8 Dill Pickle Potato Chips from Trader Joe’s
  • Fresh lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Lay two pieces of bread on a cutting board.
  • On one slice of bread, spread a thin layer of mayo thinly and add a few slices of cheese on top.
  • On the other slice of bread, spread dill pickle mustard and layer thinly sliced apple slices on top.
  • Next, add the turkey breast on top of the apples. Then, add the pickle coins.
  • If you’d like, add another squirt of mayo to act as some sandwich glue.
  • Toss the arugula in some fresh lemon juice & salt and pepper before adding it on top of the turkey.
  • For extra crunch, add dill pickle chips to the sandwich on top of the arugula.
  • Now, let's flip the sandwich together.
  • Take the piece of bread with just mayo and cheese on it and place it on top of the other slice.
  • Push it all together. You'll hear a crunch if you add potato chips to it :)
  • Slice in half and ENJOY!

Notes

I recommend making this sandwich the day you'll eat it. Wrap it tightly if preparing it in the morning. It also tastes delicious grilled.
