  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Wash and hull the fresh strawberries thoroughly to remove any stems and dirt, ensuring they are clean and ready for blending.
  • In a blender, add the strawberries, plain yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract together carefully for an even mixture.
  • Blend the mixture until completely smooth and creamy, making sure there are no large strawberry chunks left.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a suitable container, then place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until fully firm and frozen.
  • Remove from the freezer and let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften slightly, making it easier to scoop and serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, reduce the sugar or substitute with natural sweeteners like honey or agave syrup. Use Greek yogurt for a thicker and more protein-rich frozen yogurt.
