  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

  • Whisk together the flour, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.
  • Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally to create 6 pieces, pound to evenly ¼-inch thickness, season with salt and pepper, and dredge in flour.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet, sear half the chicken until browned, and set aside, repeating with remaining chicken.
  • Melt butter in the skillet, add onions and salt, and cook until softened before adding minced garlic and cooking briefly.
  • Stir in reserved flour mixture, then add chicken broth and scrape up browned bits; return chicken to skillet and simmer until cooked through.
