Ingredients
  

  • 210 grams all-purpose flour dip and sweep
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 18 grams orange zest
  • 105 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 115 grams melted butter
  • 180 grams fresh orange juice sieved

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F(177°C). Grease 8 ½ *4 ½ inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  • Place flour and baking powder into a large bowl and stir with a whisk. Set aside.
  • Put sugar and orange zest into a medium bowl and stir them either rubbing with your fingers or using a fork.
  • Add eggs and mix with a whisk until just combined. Mix in melted butter and orange juice.
  • Pour wet mixture into flour mixture and stir with a whisk until just combined.
  • Bake for 35-38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake stay in the pan for 20 minutes, then remove and cool for 25 minutes on a wire rack.

Notes

Use the zest of 2 and juice of 3 medium oranges for optimal flavor. Adjust sugar based on sweetness of oranges.
