Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly shredded for better melt
  • 6 slices cooked bacon chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and scrape up browned bits for added flavor.
  • Stir in ranch seasoning and cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Add cream cheese and stir until melted, then slowly whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  • Simmer the sauce until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.
  • Add chopped bacon and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Let the chicken rest briefly before serving to keep it juicy. Add a splash of broth when reheating to maintain a creamy sauce.
