Sauce

  • cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese (about 2 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Chicken

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 ½ pounds total)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 375°F.
  • Stir mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
  • Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally to get 4 pieces total. Pat dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Place the chicken in a single layer in a baking dish. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the chicken.
  • Bake until chicken is cooked through and registers at least 165°F, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Set the oven to broil and broil until the top is golden-brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
