Ingredients
  

  • 12 noodles lasagna cooked
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook ground beef and onion until browned and soft.
  • Add garlic and cook briefly, then stir in seasoning and 1 cup sauce.
  • Spread sauce in baking dish, layer noodles, beef, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sauce.
  • Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until bubbly.
  • Rest 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Letting the lasagna rest improves slicing. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator. Reheat in oven for best texture.
