Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Ensure very ripe for sweetness
  • 1 cup protein powder Use gluten-free if needed
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas thoroughly until smooth.
  • Add the protein powder, whole wheat flour, honey, almond milk, Greek yogurt, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix well until combined and smooth.
  • Grease a baking sheet and spread the banana bread dough evenly across it.
  • Carefully roll the dough into a log shape.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the log into even slices.
  • Place the cinnamon roll slices on a greased baking tray, leaving space between them.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to 5 days. Optionally add chopped nuts or raisins for extra texture.
