Quick and easy ginger shots recipe made in a blender, perfect for a spicy boost.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ounces fresh ginger, unpeeled, washed and roughly chopped Adjust amount according to spice preference.
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • ¼ cup coconut water

Instructions
 

  • Blend. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend for 20-30 seconds, until relatively smooth.
  • Strain. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a measuring cup or bowl. Use a spoon to press down the pulp to extract as much juice as possible, then discard the pulp.
  • Serve. Serve immediately or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 3 days. Stir or shake before serving as the shots will settle.

Notes

3 ounces of fresh ginger will make these quite intense and spicy. Adjust to your preference.
