  • 150 g macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 40 g French onion soup mix sachet
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese

Preparation and Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the diced brown onion until soft.
  • Add the beef mince to the pan and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the diced carrots, French onion soup mix, tomato sauce, and frozen peas.
  • Combine the cooked macaroni with the meat mixture.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and top with grated cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
