  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ground ginger. Whisk until well blended.
  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir this mixture into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
